J.D. has written or edited nearly 2,000 analytical reports on conflict, terrorism, and crime for Christian ministries globally since 2010. He helped establish Concilium in 2013 and launched in 2019 Insight Digest, a unique monthly periodical covering crimes against churches, Security in the Context of Ministry, and crime trends and prevention. He is a founding member of his church’s safety team. J.D. approaches threat analysis as a study of sin and its effects, which drives his motivation to help Christians use biblical security principles in obeying the Great Commission around the world and in the United States.
